Project management services (PMC) for a sulfuric acid plant and ammonium sulfate plant (2012-2014)
Project management consultant for a project involving a sulfuric acid production plant with a capacity of 400,000 MTPY combined with an electric generation capacity of 12 MW, and an ammonium sulfate production plant with a capacity of 100,000 MTPY. Supervision of the technology, design, procurement and contruction works. Assistance to the client for bidding preparation and the selection of engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractors.

Institutional Strengthening and Capacity Enhancement Project for the Can Tho City Development Investment Fund (CADIF) and the Da Nang City Development Investment Fund (DDIF) (2013-2015)
CADIF and DDIF are local financing agencies for investments in local urban infrastructure projects in both cities. This project aims to enhance their capacities by improving their project management skills, standardising their institutional development procedures (balance sheet management, financial analysis and management, debts supervision and appraisal, socio-environmental risk management, etc), and bringing international expertise to key sectoral projects (water supply, wastewater treatment and drainage, solid waste treatment, urban transport, energy, health, education, urban upgrading and social housing).
EC-Vietnam Strategic Dialogue Facility (2013-2016)
The overall objective of the project is to contribute to the implementation of Vietnam's five-year Socio-Economic Development Plan (SEDP, 2011-2015) through the further development of EU-Vietnam cooperation in sectors of strategic importance.

TA to the field components of the Northern Uplands Development Progamme (NUDP) (2013-2015)
The overall objective of the NUDP is to contribute to eradicating poverty and achieving sustainable development in the Lao Northern Uplands. Its specific objectives are to achieve secured and improved livelihoods for the rural poor in selected areas of the Northern Uplands based on sustainable land and natural resource management and community driven development.
In the three provinces and nine districts targeted, the NUDP addresses its objectives through six thematic and three crosscutting components. The activities implemented at provincial and district level are under the responsibility of the District and Provincial Agriculture and Forestry Offices (DAFOs and PAFOs).
The Lot C technical assistance team (TAT) provides technical support for the implementation of three thematic components through the global strengthening of DAFOs and support in the implementation of specific activities.

Assam Sustainable Forest Management and Biodiversity Conservation Project (2011-2012)
Technical assistance to the Forest Department of the State of Assam for the launch of the Assam Forest and Biodiversity Conservation Project, whose objectives are to: (i) protect biodiversity and combat climate change, and (ii) develop north-east Indian states, and more specifically the state of Assam. These objectives are to be achieved through the capacity building of the Forest Department, the strategic planning of forest management, and the promotion of the sustainable and participatory management of forest resources.
The specific objective of the technical assistance is to facilitate the Project’s start-up by supporting the establishment of the Project Management Unit.
Institutional, Technical, Financial and Legal Advisory Services for IPP Hydropower Concession Management (2012-2014)
In order to improve the handling of public-private-partnership for hydropower projects in Laos, the Consultant has been hired to cover the following functions:
- An institutional development input focusing on the establishment of systems and manpower requirements in the DEB;
- A technical advisory input focusing on monitoring implementation and other related technical issues of Concession Agreements;
- A financial advisory input focusing on financial modeling and monitoring;
- A legal advisory input focusing on the contractual aspects of Concession Agreements.
Supervision of the extension of the Thai Nguyen steel works (2007-2014)
Assistance to the Client for the supervision of the expansion of the Thai Nguyen steel works, including: a sintering line, a coke oven, a blast furnace, a steel plant and ancillary installations. Capacity of the expansion: 500 000 tons/year (billets). Turn-key contract worth USD 161 million realised by the company China Metallurgical Group Corporation (MCC - China).

EIDHR Evaluation on the Abolition of Death Penalty projects (2006-2007)
Support to the European Commission to improve the impact of the EIDHR (European Initiative for Democracy and Human Rights) projects supporting civil society activities aiming at the abolition of the death penalty, by strengthening the Commission’s ability to draw on lessons learnt from past and ongoing interventions for future planning, programming and project identification.
Assessment of the effectiveness and relevance of the EIDHR funded projects in support of the implementation of the EU guidelines and policy on the death penalty.
