Contract Adviser, Mozambique (Maputo)

Procurement : 

• Assistance during the bidding processes
• Sound negotiation and signature of the contracts

Management of the contracts during the works progress: 

• Planning contract execution
• Review of the physical progress of the contracts
• General administration of the contracts

• Degree or professional qualification in highway / civil engineering, or in a relevant, directly related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience
• Proven skills in inter-personal communications and project management
• Fluency in English, Portuguese would be an added advantage
• Preferably 15 years' professional post graduate experience, a minimum of 10 years required
• 10 years of experience in the road sector, and proven technical competence in road construction and/or supervision
• Minimum 3 years of TA on a major road works project, preferably with a public Institution responsible for the road works and contract administration
• Prior experience in the supervision of road works under EDF or FIDIC will be an advantage
• Working experience in public administrations and in the private sector as Project Manager will be an advantage
• Experience in developing countries will be an advantage
