| Project Management Consultant Services for the Project for Climate Change Response and Ecosystem Services Enhancement in Rajastahn (CRESEP) |
Ginger SOFRECO is looking for experts to constitute its Project
Management Consultant team to support the Project for Climate Change
Response and Ecosystem Services Enhancement in Rajasthan (CRESEP),
implemented by the Government of India and financed through a loan from
the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
CRESEP is an 8-year project aimed at addressing
climate change and enhancing ecosystem services through afforestation, forest
conservation, biodiversity conservation, eco-restoration, livelihood
improvement activities, and institutional strengthening. The project seeks to
contribute to the sustainable socioeconomic development of Rajasthan.
- Location: Jaipur,
Rajasthan, with some field visits

Job Description
To support the PMU to design relevant implementation plans for the livelihood improvement activities as well as prepare the Terms of Reference for the specialized agency.To support the work conducted by the specialized agency and ensure effective management of the livelihood improvement activities.To support the PMU to prepare draft O&M Guidelines for small-scale infrastructure for Entry Point Activities and equipment for livelihood improvement activities as needed.To support the PMU to coordinate the convergence of the activities with other resource institutions, mainly relevant governmental departments, particularly in technical training, marketing, and cluster development for interest groups.To support the PMU to conduct regular monitoring of activity implementation progress with the M&E Expert.To review/assess outcomes of activity implementation periodically with the M&E Expert.To facilitate the private collaboration both with Indian and foreign institutions whenever needed.To attend to any other tasks reasonably allocated by the Team Leader. |

Qualifications:- Master’s Degree or higher in Rural Development, Rural Sociology, or related fields.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in micro-enterprise development, business incubation, rural marketing, biodiversity conservation, and livelihood improvement.
- Past experience working in Rajasthan State is an asset.
- Experience in working with government schemes, stakeholder coordination, and convergence activities.
- Best knowledge and experience in biodiversity conservation and/or eco-restoration.
- Languages: English and Hindi.
