The Food and Nutrition Security (FNS) programme 2015 aims to improve nutrition and to promote a sustainable food security system resilient to increasing climate change-related challenges in Bangladesh.
The programme was made up of 3 components and 6 projects:
- Component 1 (EUR 8 M): Meeting the undernutrition challenge (MUCH), 01/2017-12/2020;
- Component 2 (EUR 35 M): Ending the cycle of undernutrition in Bangladesh (SUCHANA), 01/2017-12/2022;
- Component 3 (EUR 35 M): Leadership to ensure adequate nutrition (LEAN), Sustained opportunities for nutrition governance (SONGO), Joint action for nutrition outcome (JANO), and Bangladesh initiative to enhance nutrition security and governance (BlenGS), 09/2018-08/2023.

- to assess the conditions under which EU aid will have a structural impact by transforming agriculture and creating meaningful job opportunities for youth and women in Kenya.

Technical assistance in support of the promotion and development of new tools for agricultural statistics (2017-2019)
The objective of the technical assistance to the Department of Strategy and Statistics (DSS) of the Ministry of Agriculture and Maritime Fisheries is to support the promotion and development of the agricultural statistics system in Morocco. The project will enable the development and design of two systems for processing agricultural statistical data: (i) an operating system for the National Agricultural Register; (ii) an information system for accountancy data on agricultural holdings. It will also act as a communication channel for the EU’s AGRI 2 programme.

The objective of this assignment was to provide analysis and substantiated recommendations to allow the GoG and the EU to take informed decisions about actions to be funded under the 11th EDF Focal sector 2 – Infrastructures in support of sustainable and climate resilient agriculture development, and prepare the necessary documents for the following phase of the programme's preparation, including the Action Document, Social and Environmental Impact Assessments, and Terms of Reference for the detailed design studies of the infrastructures and technical assistance to support the institutional strengthening/capacity building activities.
